Ingredients

Cocktail:

 

*Honey-Ginger Syrup:

  • 1 cup honey
  • 16-inch ginger, peeled and thinly sliced
  • 1 cup water

Directions

For the honey-ginger syrup: Combine all ingredients into a small saucepan. Bring to boil over medium-high heat. Reduce heat and let simmer for 2 minutes. Remove from heat and let rest for 1 hour. Strain mixture into a container. Keeps refrigerated up to 2 weeks.

For the cocktail: Add Uncle Nearest 1884 lemon juice and syrup into a shaker with ice and shake until chilled. Strain into a glass over fresh ice and top with Uncle Nearest 1856. Garnish with a piece of candied ginger.
