Satisfying malts like Macallan and Highland Park married with fine grain whiskies. There's oak and sherry on the nose, with a citrus note. On the palate it's mature, easy-going and full of bright Speyside fruit - with a clean and medium-dry finish.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Return favorite I first discovered this Whiskey reading the W.E.B. Grifin novels "The Brotherhood of War". I drank it exclusively for years, then I decided I was cheating myself not trying and comparing other blended Scotch... after having tried all the ones I could find. I still think this one is best. Doesn't compare so well to fine single malts, but for blended... yep

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Wonderful Scotch! I was a single malt drinker when I worked on the road with a large expense account. I left the field and started my own consulting business things were leaner, a friend told me to try Famous Grouse, being a single malt guy I wasn't looking forward to it but WOW! it was just delicious!~ I have enjoyed the single malt blend of the Grouse for several years now and recommend it to friends! The only complaint I have is the bottle with no flow stopper, I have had to make my own!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Blend I was not a scotch drinker until my second trip to Scotland. There we toured the whiskey distillery’s and began my tasting experience. Even went to visit the Famous Grouse distillary and sampled their hot scotch tody and then the scotch and chocolate experience. The best scotch for me was the Dalwhinnie 15 yr.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great blend! I have enjoyed this for several years. I have done blind taste tests, and it comes through with amazing results. I have even used empty snob bottles and people who thought they knew their scotch were surprised when I reveled the deception. Give it a try, lt is worth it! And so affordable.... :)

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Surprisingly subtle I was pleased with just how easy and smooth this turned out to be. Most budget varieties of Scotch has a the taste of peated diesel but this one is a keeper. Granted it's not Caol Ila or Laphroaig, but for an easy sipper that is easy on the wallet the Grouse is a fine go to.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best blended scotch for the price This is a Scots everyday go to blend and affordable. Delicious warm or on the rocks. Smooth sipper before bed I visited the distillery in Edinburgh, Scotland, they go way back in time and the consistency is amazing. Try the Black version if you like more peaty flavor.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great consistent full bodied flavor My brother introduced me to Famous Grouse over 10 years ago. I try my best not to ever drink any other scotch. Typical stock brands are rather offensive compared to the Grouse. BTW. It is the Queen mother's own scotch and she drinks nothing else.
