Ingredients

  • 2 ounces Maker’s Mark Bourbon
  • 2 tablespoons kosher salt
  • 2 tablespoons dark brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons hot sauce
  • 2 crushed garlic cloves
  • 30 high quality chicken wings

Directions

First, combine bourbon, salt, sugar, hot sauce and garlic in a large container and mix well. Let sit covered in fridge for at least 30 minutes and up to 3 hours for best results.

Preheat oven to 425 degrees Fahrenheit and line a baking sheet with foil or parchment paper. Spray with nonstick spray.

Place chicken wings on the tray, barely touching each other and not stacked. If piled on each other, it will cause the wings to steam, not caramelize.

Bake for 20-25 minutes or until at chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165 degrees Fahrenheit.

Toss in wing sauce immediately after removing from oven. To create a glaze, put sauced wings back in the oven to finish for 3-5 minutes and serve.
