Blood orange liqueur brings a richer note to this take on the Margarita, while fresh grapefruit juice provides sophistication. Mix up a pitcher for a party, or make yourself a cool glass to sip on the porch.
Prepare your glass by filling it with ice to cool it down.
Pour 1 ½ oz Milagro Silver Tequila in your mixing glass. Measure and add ¾ oz Solerno Blood Orange Liqueur, ½ oz fresh lime juice and 1 oz fresh pink grapefruit juice. Add ½ oz simple syrup.
Fill the mixing glass with ice, pop the Boston shaker on top, and shake until the tin becomes quite cold—about 20-30 seconds. Toss the ice out of the glass. Separate the shaker and pour the Margarita through a Hawthorne strainer into the your glass. Slide a lime wheel on top of the drink to garnish.
